WEDDING INVITATIONS
This is about as personal as a personal project can get. My wife and I got married in October of 2023 and I got to play the role of both client and designer when working on our save the dates and invitations. The save the dates were inspired by one of our earlier dates to a flower farm that had some kitschy carnival style cutouts where you can stick your head through a hole in some painted plywood and become something like a farm animal. In the case of our save the dates, we become bride and groom.
The invitations were inspired by our enjoyment of national parks and the posters you can buy in the gift shops. I decided to make a national park style illustration of my home region, The Palouse, where we finally got hitched.
