the art of star wars jedi fallen order deluxe edition
As a lifelong Star Wars fan I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to add my own mark to the vast canvas of the Star Wars universe. In the late 2010's Dark Horse Comics partnered with Lucasfilm Ltd. to create a companion art book for the much anticipated video game Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, and I was tasked with designing the packaging for the deluxe edition of the book. The design was predominantly inspired by in-game star maps which I then gave a distressed and deteriorated look to to mimic old Jedi tomes. The design was printed with a metallic silver Pantone to add some extra contrast to the grungy parchment textured backgrounds.
